A mild tomato-?avored bean hotchpotch
A bean recipe that also goes down
well with children
1.Roughly chop the onion.Peel the carrot and
cut it into 1-cm cubes.Peel the potato and cut it
into 2-cm cubes and leave them in water.Roughly
chop the tomato.Finely chop the green pepper.
Cut the pork slices into strands 2 cm wide.
2.Put the soybeans,the onion,the carrot,
the tomato,the pork,the ketchup,and 1
cup of water into a saucepan and cook for
10 minutes at low heat with the lid on.
3.Add the potato and cook for a further 5
minutes.Add the green pepper and bring back
to boil.Season to taste then turn off the heat.

100 g canned soybeans
1/2 onion
1/2 carrot
1/2 potato
1 tomato
60 g thinly sliced pork
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1/2 green pepper
Small amount salt and pepper
